Bad Boy Mowers
The Client:
If there’s one thing you need to know about Bad Boy (formerly Bad Boy Mowers), it’s that attitude is everything. Over the past few years, they’ve expanded their zero turn mower brand to include full lineups of tractors, UTVs, and outdoor lawn equipment.
Social Media Posts
The Task:
With a growing lineup of products, there’s always an opportunity for consumers to learn more about the brand. Bad Boy’s social channels are the most consistent way they communicate with Bad Boy Country. The content needs to strike a balance between keeping it fun and being informative.
The Execution:
I am the visionary behind all things Bad Boy social media. I take the lead on writing captions, planning out the content, overseeing video shoots, and posting on TikTok. That means it’s my job to make sure we’ve got the perfect mix of products to talk about. Epic photography takes center stage for most of our posts, and the caption should talk about the key selling points, while also gunning for a “hell yeah” from our audience. Whenever possible, I sneak in an engaging post that isn’t as hard of a sell.
Social Video Content
The Task:
Unfortunately, I don’t have constant access to these premium riding lawn mowers 24/7. In actuality, I can only shoot content with them 1 week a year. If I don’t get something during those 7 days in the blistering June heat, I won’t have that content for social. It also takes some convincing to prove to this Arkansas-based company with blue-collar consumers that a video concept will work.
The Execution:
I had to convince the client that TikTok was a good platform for them to join. Luckily, I had plenty of other content we’d produced for my other clients to show that they can actually have success on that platform.
Once they started to believe in this, it was off to the races to plan our content. I search high and low for what I like to call “evergreen trends” – audios and joke formats that don’t have the short lifespan of typical trends. I direct all the video content we shoot at our yearly production and guide our video editor to make my dreams a reality.
Digital Campaigns

The Task:
Nothing drives more product sales than our yearly digital campaigns. This behemoth of a project entails countless ad placements for Bad Boy’s wide range of product lineups. Missing an asset could mean missing out on a sale.
The Execution:
There’s a mind-numbing amount of copy to write and keep track of, but I’m a pro at this point. Organization is the name of the game, and I do not play around with that responsibility. I’ve written more Bad Boy ad copy than I ever thought possible, and all those hours of drafts, edits, and proofing pay off with growing sales numbers year after year.

Other Assets
I'm always ready for whatever Bad Boy throws my way. These jobs range from naming products to rewriting an entire website, and everything in between.
